Neuquén: toward the west by the national route
#22 until Arroyito (50 km) and there there are two options: 1) to continue by the national route #22 until
Zapala, taking the route #40 toward the south until La Rinconada,
Junín de los Andes and then San Martin de los Andes. There
are 437 kilometers by asphalted road. 2) to take the route #237 toward the Southwest
until arriving at the river Collón Cura. Before crossing
the bridge it is necessary to take the national route #40 toward
the northwest until arriving to La Rinconada, Junín and
San Martin. There are 421 kilometers by asphalted road. From San Carlos de Bariloche: toward the east
20 kilometers by the national route 237, then toward the northwest
68 kilometers by the national route #231 until Villa La Angostura
and finally by the route #234 (of the seven lakes) other 110 kilometers.
There are in total 198 kilometers with a small gravel tract in
the route #234, the rest is asphalt.
