Rio Grande - Patagonia Argentina

RIO GRANDE (53,000 inhabitants): typical city of the patagonia located beside the ocean Atlantic and both sides of the Grande river in its outlet where the wind and the cold prevail.
80 kilometers to the north by the route #3 you arrives to the frontier with Chile (San Sebastián), and 230 kilometers to the south is located Ushuaia. It was benefitted during many years with an industrial promotion that gave to the city a great economic impulse making it grow very quickly and favoring the establishment of many companies, mainly in the items electronics and textile.
In 1992 (approx.) part of these benefits they were annulled what caused the gradual closing from most of the companies and population's emigration to other places.
It is in construction the new port what shows off in the future a new impulse of growth.
International Capital of the Trout is denominated because the Grande river is without doubts the best fly fishing of the world for the seatrout, because it holds 7 world records of flyfishing and receives fans from all over the world every year. Río Grande has a good airport, hotel infrastructure of good quality, restaurants, tourist agents and several interesting places to visit.
