| To
the reservation of fauna Islote Lobos and Isla de los Pájaros:
it is a group of islands that is located 50 kilometers from Sierra
Grande to the northeast, being united among them when it lowers
the tide. In 1977 this fauna reservation is created in order to
protecting the remarkable diversity of birds that there nest as
well as the varied marine fauna. They stand out the marine wolves
of one hair, plovers, flamingos, penguins, cormorans, petrels,
blue, ducks, etc.
Travel
to the center of the Earth: a walk along 1,500 meters
of galleries and underground tunnels of an iron mine. The tourists
are provided with Mameluke, helmets and accessories used by the
miners. During the journey it spreads a show of light and sound
that keep in the visitor the sensation to be an authentic worker
of the depths of the Earth.
To
the outlet of the stream Salado: this stream is born
in the plateau of Somuncuurá and it finishes in the Ocean
Atlantic getting wider in a considerable way in its outlet in
which has been formed a crab place of unusual proportions visible
only when the tide is low.
To
the beaches: to the east of Sierra Grande you arrive
to a sector of excellent beaches very good for the development
of recreational activities. The most important are ‘Playas
Doradas’ (that of more infrastructure), ‘Playa de
los Suecos’ and ‘Playa de las Casitas’. |
