CAVALCADES
- TREKKING:
Tolhuin is located to few kilometers of the east head of the lake
Fagnano and it is practically the center of the province of Tierra
del Fuego. The physiognomy of its surroundings presents really
startling landscapes, with surrounded mirrors of water of soft
mountains with lengas forests and ñire, ideals to carry
out cavalcades or walks of different grade of difficulty, preferably
accompanied by a guide. |
Excursions |
To
the lake Fagnano:
from Tolhuin toward the west there is a path of 5 kilometers that
takes to the east end of the lake. This walk can be carried out
by car or foot (we recommend to walk). In the head of the lake
it is the outlet of the river Turbio, where it can be practiced
the fly fishing. In that place there is hostel, complex of cabins,
restaurants and embarked fishing trips can also be hired, some
of which arrive until the other end of the lake where the river
Azopardo is born. |
