| IGUAZU
FALLS: (in Guaraní, BIG WATERS) is a world-wide
known region for its impressive waterfalls surrounded by its
exuberant forests. Declared Heritage of Humanity by the UNESCO
in 1984, it is one of the most recommended places to visit when
we talk about nature. Iguazú falls are made up of 275
falls between 40 and 80 metres high shared by Argentina and
Brazil; most falls belong to the first country. The National
Park covers 5500 has. of tropical forest holding 2000 plant
species and 400 bird varieties, “the 1/3 part of the whole
Argentina”.
Puerto Iguazu, located at 12 km. from the National
Park, owing to its hotel and service infrastructure is the
point
of reference
to stay and make different visits to the falls and other spots
of the region.
