Via Australis Cruise

Australis cruises

AUSTRALIS CRUISES was established in 1990 in order to operate tourist cruises in the Patagonia region including Argentina and Chile destinations.
The Mare Australis was until now the only ship in this operation, it was built in 2002 in Asenav navy facilities located in Valdivia.
For the incoming season the Via Australis Expedition cruise will act as the Mare Australis new brother with same features. Both cruises will navigate the Magellan straight, the Beagle channelpe Horn, exploring one of the most beautiful virgin areas in the world, like the Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego.
There are two different choices, a 3 or a 4 night program from Ushuaia to Punta Arenas and viceversa, from September to April.
